I
was interested in the behaviour of these birds today. Never been able
to get close enough for a half decent shot, due to their rather elusive,
flitting nature, high up on the side of trees. Today, however, a pair
of these birds gave me great opportunities to photograph them. Whenever
I tried to get close, they would hug the side of the tree real close
and hardly move; at times letting me get close enough to see their eye
movements, yet too close for the Canon 400mm lens I was using. My other
problem in getting these shots, was the number of distracting branches
on the pine trees. |
