Redshank - Tringa totanus
The marina lake in Crosby was so still this day, and the sun bright. All that was needed was for a bird to break the water in front of us. Right on cue, as if on demand, this lone Redshank skimmed in and provided me with the opportunity to photograph its arrival. It was a very surreal moment, watching as it seemed to hang over the water calculating with great precision where it would land.
