High Dynamic Range

High dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a technique that allows for a greater dynamic range of exposures than normal digital imaging techniques. The purpose of an HDR image is to represent the wide range of intensity levels found in scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows. Bracketing your image (see auto-bracketing in your digital cameras' manual) to produce a number of +/- exposure values is the starting point.

Over the last couple of days, I decided to step out of my photographic 'safe zone' and spend some time getting images to try out this HDR technique. So far, Im very excited at the potential!

Here are just a few of my recent attempts; early days yet! More will be added soon.

If you have the time, let me know what you think :)
