Over a period of three visits I was able to photograph these birds in very interesting light and backdrops. The colours in the water were a reflection of the various backgrounds. Unfortunately, the shots of the birds displaying had to be cropped quite heavily and as the light was very low and drizzly, I increased the ISO to 800; hence the noise in several images. All in all, I was very happy to observe these birds displaying (albeit at quite a considerable range!); getting a few shots of this very elusive moment was a bonus :)
