Red Fox - Vulpes vulpes
Whilst trying to photograph Red Squirrel today at Formby (19th December 2005), this character came along and decided to try and add squirrel to his menu. He certainly was given a run for his money; but no squirrel for him! This was the first time Ive had such clear views of a Red Fox. With the winter sun working its magic, and the colours in the fallen leaves as a back-drop, I was able to get these shots.
