This Ladybird made a very timely appearance, just as I was packing to go home - Mere Sands Wood, September 2006
Do
you believe in fairies? This shot was taken in the middle of July,
2005. I think the insect is a Soldier Beetle; probably not much
bigger than a Housefly. About an hour before the sun set, these
beetles began to fly around the tips of the crops in the field,
and I managed to grab this shot. Got me wondering about the existence
of fairies ;) |
